The Consumers' Research Council of America has rated Dr. Sheila Rege of Northwest Cancer Clinic in Kennewick one of the nation's top oncologists in 2012.

The council is based in Washington, D.C., and provides consumer information guides for professional services.

Rege is board certified in radiation oncology and is chair of the Cancer Program at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland as well as working with Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco and Kennewick General Hospital.

She helped start Northwest Cancer Clinic in April 2012.
