I'm writing in response to the Franklin County proposal to make marijuana-growing collectives illegal. This would be a mistake, because under Initiative 502, the collectives and co-ops will have to apply for licensing and follow regulations, as will the marijuana stores. Wait six months, and regulations will be in place so taxes and revenue also will come. Be patient. It will be worth it.
