Kennewick — Four juveniles were detained by Kennewick police Saturday morning after the signal from a stolen electronic device was tracked to their hotel room.
Police were called to a hotel near the intersection of Highway 395 and 27th Avenue that morning after a victim of a burglary reported on Friday told officers the signal from the device was coming from that location.
Officers also found a vehicle seen at another Friday burglary at the hotel. It was reported stolen out of Ephrata.
Three juvenile males and a juvenile female attempted to flee out their hotel window when approached by police but they were stopped. Property from multiple residential burglaries was found in their room and in the stolen vehicle following a search.
Officers also learned of another reported stolen out of Ephrata connected to the investigation. It was found in Kennewick and impounded.
The identities of and any charges against the four juveniles were not released.
