If the airport doesn't make money, close it and sell or lease the land for some other purposes. Right now, Vista is losing $200,000 per year of taxpayers' money. In 2013, I'll pay $73 in property tax on my West Richland home to the Port of Kennewick, for what? When do I start receiving tangible dividends on my investment? Sorry, but the lighthouse doesn't impress me.
