Goodwill Industries of the Columbia now has a collection trailer outside the Horn Rapids landfill.

The trailer is outside the landfill gate, and donations in good condition -- including small appliances, clothes, computers, TVs, shoes, boots, books, games, toys, home dcor, kitchenware, CDs and DVDs -- can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, a news release said. The trailer is staffed by Goodwill workers, it said.

The landfill is at 3102 Twin Bridges Road, Richland.
