Workshops offered for military families

The Benton Franklin Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering free "Reconnection Workshops" for military families struggling to adjust after a loved one's return from duty.

Topics include communication, stress and trauma, depression, relating to children and working through anger.

The first workshop is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Red Cross, 7202 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.

Pre-registration is required and can be completed online at redcross.org/reconnective workshops.
