Tech expert to speak about division between analog and digital cultures

Technology expert Alex Alben will discuss how technology is shaping communication, politics and media.

Alben is the author of “Analog Days -- How Technology Rewrote Our Future.”

He will speak at 7 p.m. March 7 at Washington State University Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.

Alben will discuss what he thinks is a division between “analog” and “digital” cultures and whether the analog culture can survive in a digital age.
