Gaia, a feral dog captured by Tri-Cities Animal Control officers in early December, has found a loving home, said a spokeswoman for the Pet Medical Center of Pasco.
The Herald ran a story about Gaia's homeless plight and the fact she was pregnant at the time of her capture.
Animal Control officers sought help from veterinarians Charles and Todd Coleman who took Gaia under their care. A few days later she gave birth to eight pups by cesarean section after complications when she went into labor.
The center's staff said Tuesday that all eight of Gaia's babies found loving homes.
