Home, garden show on tap Feb. 22-24 at TRAC in Pasco

If you're looking for ideas to spruce up your landscaping or need to shop for new appliances, you can do both in one place Feb. 22-24 at the TRAC center off Road 68 in Pasco.

Those are the dates of the 2013 Regional Home & Garden Show presented by the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 23 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 24.

Admission is $6 for adults; children under 12 years are free. Take a nonperishable food item for the Salvation Army's food pantry and receive $1 off admission.

There will be a series of free home and garden seminars all three days.

The Blue Mountain Garden Club also will have a standard flower show during the event. There is no charge for the flower show.

On Feb. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. you can sample eight wines as you tour the show. The Wine Walk costs $15 and includes the cost of admission. Tickets also include a complimentary wine glass.

To reserve tickets to the Wine Walk, call the HBA office at 735-2745. Or buy them at the door.

You must be 21 or older and carry valid ID to participate.
