The Washington State Department of Revenue recently released a new Android smartphone app to help businesses determine the sales tax rate when purchases are shipped or services performed.

The free app is available at the Google Play Store.

The iPhone version has been well received by businesses that provide services or make deliveries to multiple locations in the state, according to a news release. State law requires sales tax to be coded to the destination of a shipped or delivered product or where contractors perform services.
