Ecology seeking teens for roadside cleanup

The Department of Ecology's Eastern Regional Office is planning on hiring 115 teens to clean up roadsides, parks and recreation areas.

Youth ages 14 to 17 can apply through April 1. Crews will be based in Pasco, Othello, Moses Lake and Walla Walla.

The Ecology Youth Corps members, once hired, will work from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for four weeks.

Sessions run from June 24 to July 19 and July 22 to Aug. 16.

Participants will be paid $9.19 per hour.
