Letter: Martin Luther King Jr. would fight 'the beast' if he were alive today

February 12, 2013

If Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were here today, what would he be doing? He said, "I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality." So what does that mean?

If you haven't noticed, a peaceful revolution is taking place that will fulfill his words. King would criticize Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America because of their inhumane practices for profit. Under no circumstances should anybody serve in the military, which leads to 18 suicides per day and serves as "the beast's" muscle.

Manipulated news channels such as CNN, MSNBC and Fox News should be given the consideration they deserve -- none.

King would support solar energy and electric cars, not fueling "the beast's" energy companies like Chevron, Exxon and Texaco. King would reject the political system, as our solutions lie in technology, not human puppets.

We should all get together with love and bring down this "beast" that is murdering us all in the name of profit. If we don't stand up for ourselves and our Earth, who will?

King had a dream that all men are created equal. Let's make that dream come true.
