Richland Arts Commission seeks art award nominations

By the Tri-City HeraldFebruary 11, 2013

The Richland Arts Commission is accepting nominations through Feb. 15 for its sixth annual Art Recognition Awards.

The awards recognize local contributions to the arts by individuals and groups.

Entries are due Friday for the city's all-ages "Seasons in the Park" art contest.

Artists should submit their drawings, using any medium, on 11-by-17 sheets of paper, and include their name, address, phone

number and e-mail on the back, a city news release said.

All entries will be displayed in the Richland Library later this month and some will be reproduced on vinyl and placed on trash cans in Howard Amon Park, the release said.
