By the Tri-City HeraldFebruary 10, 2013

The Hanford Advisory Board has picked Susan Leckband to serve as vice chairwoman after she served six years as chairwoman. The position has a six-year term limit.

She agreed to continue serving with new chairman Steve Hudson, but said she plans to work with board members interested in leadership positions to prepare them to eventually serve as chairman or vice chairman.

Leckband represents the Washington League of Women Voters on the board.
