A study estimating how many juvenile salmon survive the trip through the lower Snake River dams will be discussed Tuesday.
Geoff McMichael, a senior research scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, will speak at 7 p.m. at the Mid-Columbia Libraries branch at 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick.
His talk is part of PNNL's Community Science and Technology Seminar Series.
The results of the study will be used to determine whether the dams are in compliance with requirements of Endangered Species Act rulings.
