Cougar crimson

It is an appalling indictment of today's youth to read in the Jan. 22 edition of the Tri-City Herald that a teen was allegedly attacked when his Washington State University sweatshirt was mistaken for rival gang colors.

It is an appalling indictment of the Tri-City Herald to read in the article that, "The boy was reportedly wearing a maroon Washington State University sweatshirt." Maroon? Are there no Tri-City Herald editors who know Wazzu's colors are crimson and grey?
