I don't quite understand why C.G. Navejar's letter ("Gun debate," Jan. 18) was printed. I don't know where Navejar's comments were headed. It didn't make much sense to me, and I am surprised the Herald printed it. Of course, we all have our opinions. I think we have a right to protect ourselves. If they take all the guns away from us, the only people who will have guns will be the crooks.
