Despite the Windermere "for sale" sign on the building, the Sandstone Cafe in Kennewick is not closing or moving.
The building at 104 W. First Ave. is for sale, but cafe owner James Ortega said he is not going anywhere.
"I have a 21-year lease, and we're only into year four. I'll be here for another 18 years or longer," Ortega said. "Why would I close? We're one of the most popular places to eat, and we've won the title of the best soup in the Tri-Cities eight times out of 10."
