Raining Jane performs Feb. 9 in Walla Walla

By the Herald staffFebruary 7, 2013

The Raining Jane concert is Feb. 9 at the Gesa Power House Theatre in Walla Walla. Doors open at 7 p.m., and showtime is at 8 p.m.

Raining Jane is an all-female acoustic indie rock band from Los Angeles. The band has released three albums and a few of their songs have been featured on such TV shows as Grey's Anatomy and So You Think You Can Dance.

But playing music isn't all this quartet of female musicians is passionate about. They are actively involved in community outreach, and in 2010 helped establish a nonprofit rock 'n' roll camp for girls in Los Angeles. The camp is dedicated to empowering girls through music education.

Tickets to the show cost from $25 to $30 and are available at www.phtww.com or by calling 509-529-6500.
