Spanish speakers focus of event in Kennewick

Spanish-speaking families from the Kennewick School District are invited to a "Planting Hope" event.

From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the district will offer an informative session on teen drug prevention and intervention, parental rights and new graduation requirements.

There will be a free breakfast, entertainment, door prizes and lunch. Child care will be available.

The event will be at Kennewick High School, 505 S. Dayton St.
