Ricky Russert, 29, will be one of the bad guys in the season premiere of Touch, starring Kiefer Sutherland.

The show airs at 8 p.m. Feb. 8 on the Fox network.

Russert, a 2001 Kennewick High grad, was a baseball standout in high school and showed no interest in acting, his dad Rick Russert told the Herald.

But when he headed to Washington State University in Pullman, he caught the acting bug after taking drama. His teacher told him he was a natural, Rick Russert said.

So after graduating, he headed for Los Angeles to pursue acting.
