Recent events in this country were terrible. No one wants to see innocent people killed. But we don't need new gun laws. There are 20,000 Federal, state and local gun laws on the books. These laws need to be strictly enforced to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and those with mental illnesses and away from children. The politicians need to quit trying to take the guns away the law-abiding citizens and enforce the laws that are already in place.

Please write your senators and ask them to oppose Sen. Dianne Feinstein's 2013 gun and magazine ban. Go to www.nraila.org to get more information.

With a few exceptions, the only rifles that are exempt from her gun ban are bolt, lever, pump and slide action. Handguns are not exempt from her weapons ban.

If you are a hunter, competitive shooter, recreational target shooter or have a handgun for personal defense, Feinstein is after your guns.

There are also seven anti-gun bills up for vote in the House of Representatives. Please write U.S. Rep. Doc Hastings and ask him to oppose these and any other anti-gun bills
