As a single mom with three children, I would have taken on anyone who threatened to hurt them. Even though I had no training, I had resolve and courage.
The issue is not whether women can fight, etc., the question is ... do they want to? Some have small children ... an elderly parent ... a disabled husband.
I believe they need to be able to opt out if they want. But the choice to fight needs to be made available to them. When they stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers in arms, they will give their all ... just as the men do.
