Have you heard Jessica Lynch tell the story of her capture? I suppose if some women desire to face the possibility of rape and torture, or even beheading, at the hands of the enemy when captured, then so be it.

Women in combat roles is occurring but I shudder to think of what they may face. I have a higher regard for them than to want to see them tortured and maimed.

The so-called "equal rights" have lowered the status of women. I have read about how women were treated at the time of the founding of this country. When a woman walked into a room with men present they would arise and bow. There sure isn't much respect for women today.
