A Chinese New Year celebration is planned from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the auditorium at Chief Joseph Middle School, 504 Wilson Ave., Richland.

Festivities include music, dancing, violin and drama performances and a dance exhibition by the Tri-City Tappers.

Admission is free.
