Property owners in Benton County can start paying their 2013 property taxes.

Drop boxes are available at the Benton County Courthouse in Prosser, Benton City City Hall, the Richland Auditor's Office and the Kennewick Annex, and payments also can be made online at www.bentoncountytax.com. Direct withdrawals also are available, the treasurer's office said in a news release.

The treasurer's office plans to send printed 2013 tax statements by mail in mid-February.
