Parents, coaches, educators and teens will be able to spend the evening with Mac Bledsoe in person on from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday when he will present a seminar called "Helping Our Children Reach for the Stars, and Achieve What They Choose."
Mac Bledsoe will explain simple concepts on how children (and adults) can reach their high school, college, or career goals.
These are the same steps his son, Drew Bledsoe, used to achieve NFL stardom without having super athletic ability. Parents are strongly encouraged to bring children ages 12 and up to this workshop.
Children may attend free. Cost is $20 a person.
The seminar will be at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive.
Pre-registration is required at midcolumbiaparenting.org, or call Mark Murphy at 845-2092 for information.
For those adults who want to help Mac Bledsoe and his team reach more parents and kids with his parenting program, join him for breakfast at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Magill's restaurant at the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland. Program graduates also are encouraged to attend. Call 845-2092 to reserve seats.
