If the proposed aquatic center gets on the ballot, I will vote no.

I suspect there are not nearly as many people who need an indoor pool so they can swim all winter (I know, the proposal is for more than that) as there are people who would patronize a performing arts center.

I don't know the year-round swimmers, but I do know many concert patrons. The Convention Center and the Toyota arena are not satisfactory venues for performing arts.
