Boys basketball: Pendleton tops Southridge

Pendleton 58, Southridge 46: Austin Molt scored 14 points, but the host Suns couldn’t come back from a four-point third quarter after leading 29-22 at halftime Tuesday.

“We had some turnovers and didn’t hit a lot of buckets,” Southridge coach DJ Traver said. “We got a little stagnant offensively.

“They were aggressive. They got some turnovers that led to baskets. That was kind of their key tonight.”

Southridge scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, but Quincy George went 7-for-8 from the free-throw line to help Pendleton preserve the win.

Tommy Lane finished with

16 points for the Buckaroos, and George had 15.
