Dade Moeller employees have worked for 1 million hours without an Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordable injury.
It is the second time that Dade Moeller has achieved 1 million safe work hours since the company was created in 1994. In 2007, the company celebrated 1.2 million hours worked without a lost-time injury.
The 1 million mark was reached this year despite recent and rapid changes in the type of work the company performs.
Workers have taken field samples at the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, done environmental cleanup work at Hanford and traveled to Japan to ensure safe demonstrations of decontamination equipment after the Fukushima disaster.
