It's time to get rid of sales taxes, excise taxes and any other of these regressive taxes that hurt the poor much more than they hurt the wealthy and institute a simple state income tax that is connected to your federal income tax but does not include some of the disgraceful loopholes available to the 1 percent.

If tax computation is too complicated for you, buy some inexpensive software, and get your grandchildren to help you. Businesses should welcome not having to collect sales tax any more.
