Columbia Basin College on Sunday will provide information and assistance to Washington families wanting to apply for college financial aid.
College Goal Sunday is a statewide program that will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Lee R. Thornton Center on CBC's Pasco campus, according to a news release.
Students should attend with a parent or guardian and bring their parents' completed 2012 IRS tax return or other information on income and benefits. Students also will need their Social Security number, driver's license and Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, PIN.
Families who haven't completed their taxes for 2012 can use estimated information.
Students who attend and register on www.thewashboard.org will be eligible to win a college scholarship from the Northwest Education Loan Association.
