Girls basketball: Balanced scoring leads Chiawana past Pasco

January 25, 2013

Delaney Hodgins scored 21 points, Darbi Pink and Braydey Hodgins each added 13, and Chiawana cruised past Pasco 76-36 in a Mid-Columbia Conference home victory.

“The nice thing about it, it was a team effort in scoring,” said Chiawana coach Steve Davis. “When you have pretty much everybody on the team score and three kids in double digits, it’s a great team effort.”

The win keeps the Riverhawks in first place alone and on track to take the Class 4A No. 1 seed, assuming they win out. Chiawana plays at Hanford tonight and hosts Walla Walla next Friday.
