Freezing rain possible early today in Tri-Cities

Rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain, is in the forecast for the Tri-Cities through 10 a.m. this morning.

Ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch were possible from Thursday night through this morning, according to the National Weather Service. Roads could be icy, particularly Interstate 82 from the Oregon border to Sunnyside, according to the weather service.

Unsettled weather conditions with possible rain are expected to continue through the weekend into early next week.
