The LIGO public tour is from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Hanford Observatory, 127124 N. Highway 10 in Richland.

There will be a presentation, then a walking tour of the observatory, including the control room. Comfortable shoes are recommended as well as warm clothing. There is no cost, and all ages welcome.
