Walla Walla man arrested in SWAT raid on drug charges

— A 47-year-old man was arrested this morning by the Walla Walla Emergency Services Unit SWAT Team in connection with felony drug charges.

The SWAT team forced its way into 203 N. Fifth Ave., Apt. A, around 6:30 a.m. today and arrested Steven Duggan.

Officials say his arrest was the result of an investigation by drug detectives with the Special Teams Unit.

He was booked into Walla Walla County jail in connection with two counts of methamphetamine delivery, a felony, according to police.

Duggan was also wanted in Oregon for a parole violation. He was convicted in Oregon for first-degree sodomy and is a registered sex offender, according to police.
