Once again, the citizens of Pasco have the opportunity to vote "yes" to support a bond that will provide three much-needed elementary schools.

As a proud Pasco resident for more than 30 years, I have watched my children and their spouses go on to successful careers after graduating from the Pasco schools with a solid foundation provided by outstanding teachers in strong community schools. I now look to the future of my grandchildren. As a member of the Pasco community, it is important that not only my grandchildren but all the children of Pasco have the same opportunities for an excellent education with many valuable experiences that will make them contributing citizens of the future.

The Pasco School Board has proposed a fiscally responsible plan to meet these needs. Pasco citizens have always been strong advocates for our children and because of this support, the Pasco School District has received recognition at many levels for their achievements. This is "Pasco Pride." A yes vote will support the demands of a fast-growing community and not shortchange its youth, our future!
