YAKIMA -- Herman Alford Duckworth, 91, of Yakima, died Jan. 16 at Landmark Care Center in Yakima.

He was born in Toledo, Mo., and lived many years in the Yakima Valley.

He retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
