Program helps women enter construction field

Applications are being taken for the YouthBuild program in the Yakima Valley. Low-income women ages

16-24 are encouraged to apply.

Participants will have the opportunity to complete their high school diploma or earn their GED, learn residential construction and earn a construction certification.

The program, which begins Tuesday, is run by Northwest Community Action Center.
