Thankful Thursday: West Richland Police Chief long on service

January 17, 2013

Kudos to West Richland Chief of Police Brian McElroy for the quick retrieval of my misplaced briefcase and Day-Timer (my life) last Saturday.

Leaving my "open house" to get to another appointment, I forgot to throw these in and left them along the street. Doing his routine "neighborhood rounds", Chief McElroy, picked them up and delivered to my office door in five minutes!

All too often, I believe we can lose sight of our public servants' role of just being there and paying attention around our communities in addition to providing for our public safety. Thanks again, chief.
