West Richland students learn about giving back to their community

Tapteal leadership students begin sorting and counting soda can tabs the West Richland elementary school has been collecting since summer for donation to the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane. Teacher Patty Covert, who advises the leadership team, estimated they've collected about 50 pounds of tabs. The group became interested in helping the Spokane facility after learning how it benfited a relative of a student at the school. Check out video posted in this site.
