Police roundup: Stolen items found in Pasco, Kennewick

BY THE HERALD STAFFJanuary 15, 2013

A search at three addresses in Pasco and Kennewick on Sunday turned up items taken in Franklin County and Pasco burglaries, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

A Kennewick man and a Pasco juvenile were arrested in connection with the burglary in Franklin County. Juan Manuel Montalvo, 18, of Kennewick, and the juvenile are believed to be gang members, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies served the search warrant as part of the investigation of a Friday morning burglary of a home on Merlot Drive in Franklin County, but also found items linked to a Pasco burglary, said the sheriff's office.

Kennewick police assisted and reported that three guns and a significant amount of stolen property were found.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate whether other items found might have been taken in additional Tri-City-area burglaries and whether the suspects arrested were involved in other burglaries.
