The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Tri-Cities Legislative Council are taking reservations for the annual legislative trip to Olympia on Feb. 7-8. The registration deadline is Jan. 23.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers to promote the Tri-Cities and the region for its business-friendly atmosphere and recreational activities, and urge support for regional projects that benefit the community.
The legislative council was formed to demonstrate a united front when promoting the Tri-Cities to elected leaders throughout the state. The purpose is to share resources and avoid duplication of efforts among the membership with respect to monitoring legislative information and events.
The legislative council is composed of representatives from the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce, TRIDEC, Tri-City Visitor and Convention Bureau, the Pasco Chamber of Commerce, West Richland Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Cost for the full package (bus transportation, hotel, meals, reception and educational materials) is $350. Cost for the bus only is $60, hotel only is $145 and meals, materials and reception only is $180.
