Badger Mountain Irrigation District's manager, Brad Anderson, plans to retire on Jan. 31 after almost 26 years in the position.
Anderson, originally from Othello, has had a 34-year career with three special districts in Washington and California and has lived in the Tri-Cities for 43 years.
The Badger Mountain Irrigation District serves about 2,000 residents. The district provides irrigation to 5,000 acres and drinking water to 750 homes in the Rancho Reata area.
