OTHELLO -- Walter Leo Tennant, 73, of Othello, died Jan. 7 at Avalon Care Center in Othello.

He was born in Oriskany Falls, N.Y., and lived in Othello for 48 years.

He retired from work in agriculture soil and crop services.
