Dancing with the Hermiston Stars fundraising event starts at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 in the Performing Arts Center at Hermiston High School, 600 S. First St., Hermiston.
Six community members will dance with professional dancers to raise money for local charities. Judges will critique, and the audience will vote for the winner. Hermiston locals doing the dancing include Bryn Browning, Don Horneck, Jordawn Wambeke, TJ Hansell, Dorothy Smith and Dave Drotzman.
Admission is $30 for adults and $20 for ages 18 and younger. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department, 180 N.E. Second St.
