Thanks to Scott and Diane Call for writing the letter printed Dec. 28 about high winds on garbage days. It was the same letter I was writing in my head. On that windy Monday, I was out in the dark at 4:30 a.m., peeling a large card board box that had blown more than block and was wrapped around my heat pump unit. I know the distance it had traveled as the address was on the box and several other items that had landed at the end of this street.
