I would like to thank the Washington State Patrol for conducting a speed enforcement operation on Highway 395 in Kennewick between the Fourth Avenue overpass and Seventh Avenue on New Year's Day.

Too many drivers treat that part of the highway as if it were a freeway rather than the city street that it really is. Again, thank you for making our streets safer.
