PNNL engineer to talk about Fukushima

Mikey Brady-Rapp, an engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, will discuss Department of Energy national laboratory work related to decommissioning reactors after the Fukushima disaster.

She will speak Jan. 15 at a meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society at the Shilo Inn, Richland.

Brady-Rapp has been appointed a member of DOE's Criticality Safety Support Group.

There is no charge to attend her talk at 7 p.m., but those who attend the dinner meeting an hour earlier must pay $22 and should make reservations by Friday by calling 366-9632.
