Washington River Protection Solutions workers at Hanford have worked 6 million hours without time lost because of an injury.

It's a milestone never before reached at the Hanford tank farms, where 56 million gallons of radioactive waste are held in underground tanks, according to Washington River Protection Solutions.

The record was set in late December. The tank farm team includes 1,400 workers.
